Aromatherapy Blend Of The Week

Oil Burner

Good afternoon everyone and welcome to this weeks Aromatherapy Blend!

This week it’s all about rest, recovery and re-energising for me.  I’m getting over a very bad virus… yuk, yuk, yuk!!!

So I’ve made a beautiful blend to boost your immune system, keep your energy levels up, ward of stress and balance and uplift your spirits for the festive season.

This blend is just lovely in your oil burner.  It is also great in the bath and makes the best massage oil when combined with a carrier oil such as Camellia…so nurturing and soothing.

Lemon Myrtle – is refreshing and uplifting.  It is a perfect fatigue fighter on both a physical and emotional level.  It is an anti-depressant.  It promotes optimism and positivity, allowing the spirits to soar and enhancing motivation and inspiration.  It is also antiseptic, antibacterial, cleansing and an immune stimulant.

Geranium –   is a fantastic balancer for the nervous system.  It relieves stress & depression and balances hormones.  It is fantastic if you are feeling run down.  It is also excellent for feelings of anxiety, indecisiveness and self doubt.  It is strengthening, comforting and calming, enhancing contentment, confidence and the ability to change.

Lavender – is normalising on an emotional and physical level.  It is balancing, healing, relaxing and brings comfort and strength to the soul.  It is anti-stress and anti-anxiety, very calming and sedating making it great for treating panic, shock, stress, nervous tension and insomnia.  It soothes the emotions and calms the mind for positive decision making.  It is also antiseptic and antispasmodic.  It is great for the skin, headaches, insomnia and muscular aches & pains.

What essential oils do you use for rest and recovery?  I’d love to hear your thoughts…leave a comment below if you so desire ♡

In Health and Happiness, Dee xxx
