I hope you are all happy and healthy and surrounded by your favourite scents.
Last week I re-introduced clary sage to my essential oil collection. It seems like years since I’ve had this bewitching aroma in my life and now I can’t get enough of it! It blends so well with so many essential oils so it was hard to decide on one to share with you. In the end I thought I’d go with something happy, joyous and revitalising. I’m calling it euphoria, a blend for intense contentment, delight, wellbeing and bliss.
Clary Sage ~ is perfect for creating a balance between energy and relaxation. It reduces over-excitement, calms and centres a busy mind and promotes tranquillity and relaxation. At the same time it is anti-fatigue, revitalising, regenerative and reviving. It also reduces nervous tension, anxiety, stress, panic, tearfulness, worry, depression, despondency and emotional burn-out. It enhances openness and expansion, confidence, communication, inspiration and intuition, It is very strengthening, increasing wellbeing and bringing about a feeling of bliss and euphoria. It is also very good for treating sore tired aching muscles, headaches and migraines, pms, period pain and the respiratory system.
Grapefruit ~ is uplifting, restorative and reviving. Perfect in times of exhaustion. It reduces tiredness, frustration and irritability and brings about balance, positive energy and vitality, enhancing creativity and inspiration. It is also great in times of stress, depression, nervous and mental exhaustion. It reduces frustration and irritability, helping to give clarity of thought and the energy to face challenges. It is very cleansing on a physical and mental level. It also has cleansing, detoxifying and diuretic properties.
Neroli ~ is one of the most effective anti-depressant oils. It is excellent for anyone who has been depressed long term or short term. It’s sedative action acts as a natural soothing agent for the nervous system, calming and uplifting. It is a great anxiety fighter and also good for nervous exhaustion and shock. It enhances relaxation and is stabilising, regenerating and strengthening. It enhances self-confidence and fulfilment. It also helps in times of sorrow especially when accompanied by a feeling of emptiness. It centres your entire being, reconnecting mind and body to brings about a sense of joy. It is also good for the digestive system and hypertension (high blood pressure).
