Hello fellow Aromatherapy Lovers!
I’m so sorry this weeks blend is a so late, but work has been busy with a big capital B this week so blog-time hasn’t had much of a look-in…or much of anything else really. With that in mind it seems like a good time to share this beautiful blend of essential oils for self-care.
I’ve been thinking a lot about self-care lately, reading about it and talking about…well, it is part of my job to encourage people to look after and make time for themselves. But on a personal level it seems to be popping up a lot and this year I’ve been working on looking after myself better…and I’ll be posting a few of my self-care tips soon but now back to this weeks blend.
Nurturing, balancing and deeply calming, this combination of essential oils will bring joy and happiness to your heart and soul….yay for that!!!! I’m burning it in my oil burner as we speak!
Rose ~ is comforting & soothing in times of emotional stress. It is perfect to use in times of grief and loss. A great anti-depressant, it helps dispel fear and anxiety. It is refreshing to the soul, bringing joy and love to the heart. It promotes self-esteem , compassion and enhances the feminine spirit. It is harmonising and healing, bringing warmth, peace, fulfillment and rejuvenation to the mind, body and spirit.
Cypress ~ is cleansing, tonifying and strengthening. It is great for increasing vitality. It nourishes an over-burdened nervous system, reducing stress, restoring calm and soothing the spirit on a deep level. It also assists in times of change, major decision-making and transition.
Mandarin ~ is sedating to the nervous system. It is helpful for insomnia and restlessness. It uplifts the spirits, making it excellent for depression, anxiety and stress. It is balancing, enhances gentleness and brings joy and happiness to the heart. It gives emotional strength, motivation and serenity.
