Hands up if you love Spring? both my hands are up in the air waving like mad!!!
To me Spring means sunshine along with warmth, hope and happiness. It brings a feeling of new beginnings, positive change and growth, energy, vitality and vibrant liveliness. A renewed sense of confidence, optimism and zest for life. Not to mention that bursting big beautiful list of things I can’t wait to do.
Here’s my top 8 things to do now Spring has sprung.
ONE: Exercise and Energise ~ get up, get out and get energised. I love the longer days and evening walks after work…no excuses now!
TWO: Fresh Fruit ~ oh give me all that luscious summer fruit to devour. Fresh pineapple juice anyone? berries, mangoes, peaches, plums, apricots…you get the drift.
THREE: Spring Skin ~ get your skin ready for summer with regular facials and body exfoliations. And don’t forget to hydrate your skin everyday. DIY at home or take yourself to a day spa for real treat.
FOUR: Vitamin Boost ~ support your body with essential vitamins and minerals. Does your immune system need a boost? How are you stress levels? Is your skin suffering from the Winter weather? Are you feeling tired and run down? These conditions and more can be helped with natural remedies. Ask your local natural therapist for advice.
FIVE: Spring Clean ~ oooh, I love a good spring clean!!! kitchen pantry, bathroom, office, makeup draw, wardrobe…the lot!! Out with the tired old expired stuff and in with bright shiny new things.
SIX: Buy Flowers ~ give your nice clean house the gift of some fresh flowers. I love the happiness flowers bring to my day.
SEVEN: Spring Shopping ~ time to get out of those heavy Winter clothes that envelope you in warmth and step into a stunning summer dress and pair of strappy heels (or whatever it is you love!)….I’m thinking an organic spray tan is in order too!
EIGHT: Plan a Summer Holiday ~ even if it’s only a few days, try to get away somewhere special and de-stress, relax and rejuvenate this summer. Maybe even leave your laptop, iPad, mobile phone at home….no? too much?!!, well at least only check them once a day and spend the rest of the time just enjoying a break!
